Brittany Kugler Psychology
Specializing in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy
|
Brittany Kugler Psychology is a warm, collaborative practice grounded in evidence-based care and genuine human connection.
We specialize in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other research-supported treatments, while also drawing from relational, insight-oriented, and integrative approaches to meet each person where they are. Our team—Dr. Brittany Kugler and Alex Vangel, LCSW—has extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety disorders, including generalized anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), social anxiety, panic disorder, specific phobias, and separation anxiety. We also treat related concerns such as depression, persistent low mood, and behavioral challenges in childhood and adolescence. In addition to our specialization in OCD and anxiety, we work with adults and young adults facing life transitions, identity exploration, relationship stress, academic or career pressures, and moments of feeling “stuck.” Many individuals come to us during times of change—entering adulthood, navigating sexuality or gender identity, processing historical traumas, becoming parents, shifting careers, or coping with loss. Dr. Kugler also has expertise in perinatal mental health (including pregnancy loss, postpartum anxiety/OCD, and adjustment to new parenthood) as well as helping individuals manage the emotional impact of chronic or complex medical conditions (e.g., PANDAS/PANS, Lyme disease, and other illnesses with significant psychiatric symptoms). Above all, we aim to create a space that feels safe, compassionate, and truly supportive—where evidence-based therapy is paired with warmth, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience. |
